SPICE BLEND FOR SWEETS

  Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

  2        tablespoons  cinnamon
  1         tablespoon  nutmeg
  1 1/2      teaspoons  ground allspice
  1 1/2      teaspoons  ground clove
  1         tablespoon  ground ginger
  1         tablespoon  dried grated lemon peel -- or orange peel or other citrus peel

Mix together well.  Store in a labeled air tight container.  Best if used within 6 months.
