ITALIAN SEASONING

     1/2           cup  dried oregano
     1/4           cup  dried basil
  2        tablespoons  onion powder
  2        tablespoons  garlic powder
     1/2      teaspoon  hot red pepper flakes -- crushed
     1/2      teaspoon  pepper
  1              whole  bay leaf -- crumbled (optional)

Mix together well.  Store in an airtight container that has been clearly labeld.
