     1/2         pound  brown sugar -- packed
  1              stick  unsalted butter -- room temperature
     1/4           cup  dark rum -- or brandy
     1/4      teaspoon  cinnamon
     1/4      teaspoon  nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together well.  Store in the refrigerator.
